Hooked up with Virtual Regatta

These passed days aside from my normal sched, which I’m having difficulties on coping up. I’ve taken another more time consuming to keep me until February by playing virtual regatta.

It’s D’man fault! He was the first one, who‘s playing it, a week earlier than I. He’s also got the fever of it from his colleagues & his boss their none-stop talking about it, that made him join. From then on, He kept on checking that made me curious what it is. Then, telling me that it’s actually virtual game but it fallows the real route of the Vendée Globe; it’s a single-handed sailing yacht race around the world. That got me, too.

I didn’t start from the beginning of the race which was the 9th of Nov. I was late almost 2 weeks. And it gives a price of 10,000 Euros. I know, I won’t be qualified on winning that one. Neither the less, this game just made me gaga to a point, that I couldn’t do anything; like my studies my lessons in French or whenever I’m on my tutorial. I’m itchy to check up my boat every 5 minutes. But of course, I can’t. It would be impolite to do so, when someone just even gave me a free tutorial.

And more, when I was trying to book a hotel for us in Paris, I was looking for the one with Wi-Fi. Just imagine, a thrifty person like me would be willing to put extra to have one for a game. I was so happy that I’ve found one but they say it was booked and I don’t have time to look for another one but take what they offered, which doesn’t have at all. Consoling ourselves, that we’ll have time to drop somewhere there’s one, unfortunately, we never got the time there.

La Louvre took it all. At that moment, I was willing to scarify my game to be again in the most wonderful place like this one. Letting my children have a look of those artifacts and all. The amazed look of people surrounds us make me beam more. And I was wishing to have more energy and time to have more of it. Later, tell more about the Louvre Museum.

When we arrived at home, we immediately checked our boats. I have lost 11,000 spots. That really HURTS. And he just lost a thousand. Not fair! I’ve been working since last Monday to catch up. I was not that bad, coz I got to catch our friends. And one of them was enough afraid that he bought an options to help him navigate automatically; getting the best wind & speed he could without much work. What a CHEATER! I keep on sending him some messages like “cheater, remove that thing. I mean it or else, you‘re not our friend anymore. ". And we just continue on verbal sparring.

Now, who say we can’t be kids at this age? Anyway, the game id free; if you would like to join in click here, the more the merrier, right?

PS:
There will be another one after this. Hahahaha.... Goodness, i sound like my kids. Pardon me, this certainly one of my attacks.Pls, bear.

Burn out

I’ve been lure by the sun outside but I can’t do anything about it. Thinking of mowing, but knowing that it’s still wet and our toy mower would not be able to cut the grass properly. And more, I have pressing thing to do, like slicing meat for kikiam. I’m trying to avoid getting frustrated and finish all the requested dishes that I need to do for a friend’s birthday party.

Yes, they like kikiam (chinese dish). It’s a click to everyone, who has tasted it here. To a point that they keep on complimenting me that really makes me so uncomfy, would makes me wish to be invisible at that moment. One time, I even went under the table to hide. I’m so bad on receiving them (compliments). Though, I’m truly happy that they appreciate it, to a point on requesting to have it in every occasion.

Now, I’m starting to get bored on doing it. I feel so bad, can’t seems cut a meat. Hope by writing it down it would help me want to do it. I only got a day. However, I have done the other request already. There are 2 more to go. Sorry to bore you people.

Another Freaky Friday

Naturally, the kids have their routines every morning; in fact, I seldom need to lift a finger. I just awake to see if they have not forgotten stuff & reminding them, time to time that they need to return the stuff they took for breakfast. And of course, have my goodbye kiss.

But not today, I was awaken by hearing a galloping horse in the house, that's my eldest. What more he was asking me “Mama, how do I press my polo?” Densely, I was telling him, “You’re kidding me? It’s not time to learn how to iron your clothes; and please look outside, the weather is a sh**.” That didn’t stop him. Instead he went down and plugged the iron.

No choice for this mama. I need to race down then resigned by giving him some instructions and console myself by taking my dose of coffee. I was then left wondering, "What’s with the polo today?" He doesn’t normally go far as to provoke me to get off my bed this way, I often get a kiss to be awaken before he buzz off for school. Ouf, could be his one of his days.

Then, d’man & the 2 little monster went down. As they do their norms… The 2 little people start getting agitated; for what reason, heck, I don’t know. Gab started murmuring, a sign of discontent of something. When I asked him, he again started mumbling that he preferred not to have towel to be on his stash to his wind sailing class this afternoon. That's a big no-no for me. Then, he started on asking to change his windbreaker, water shoes and his shorty so on and on…

And as expected, Pia started her stuff, too. Like asking me a million times to prepare her costume for the dance they will present tonight in “soirée dansant” which the parents' association have organized for fund racing for kids' activities. Comforting her that I have the list prepared, but I felt like, they don’t understand every word I say. Coz they continue & continue …

My last resort was telling the little boy, "I think the weather is so bad for you to have your sailing class, you needs stay home. & you little girl, I maybe sick to go to the dance. We all stay here at home & have a quiet start of weekend for once." The brawling had stop. Bravo maman!

I’ve thought, the morning is back to normal and get my comfort of my coffee before sailing to help preparing the salon for the fête. But no, d’man having his sweetest smile asking me with an affirmation tone “So, we go with my choice of new trolley, right.” Oh no, not again. When would 8:30 am come? Can’t help thinking all these. I just want them out of the house. To have this, I need to answer him. “It’s your choice, but I’m telling you it screams bling-bling to me. And if you still go for your reason then I’m at your side.”

Then, they left off and here I am sharing my distressing morning to you. Before I set off to help & do some cake.

Scorn from somewhere,perhaps?!

Man, don’t I just wanna cry, my only day off from normalcy and my phone is not working. “C’est pas juste!!! ( It’s not fair!!!) Waaaaaaaaah…..what to do?” I been going up and down to see the modem if it’s working and it is. Still got a connection (internet) and TV, noh? But the phone!!!! And what more, I forgot when was the last time I’ve used my mobile it must be somewhere and died. "This is too much!"

Now, how am I going to tell d’man that I’ve change plan. He needs to go home & eat his lunch here after fix my phone. I know that he would resist and say Mais maman ( but mama) then that’s the queue that I must take. Whining hysterically then say loudly, “You must be kidding me.” Then, change into desperate tone and say… “Come on, I need my phone, please.” If he still resist, Bargain time; I’ll say… “Ok then, expect that the dinner would serve in your "Dragon ball Z" time. You & the kids will surely be so unhappy.”

Normally it will work, but I have to find my mobile, first. Oops, Sorry. Its one of my attacks.

PS: Lareine, pretty please try to call me. Perhaps it will work?

My white nights...

Its been weeks having my attacks (insomnia). To a point that i voluntary gave-up my bed, for the sake of the Man of the house to have decent sleep. Or else, this shack will have two grumpy semi-adult brains running it. No good at all!

In my newly acquired sleeping quarter which I happily (in some occasion) shared with my adopted Sally. We're bonding great from watching TV and munching anything edible... to pass on our White Nights.

Though sometimes, I felt that she abused me by giving me those pleading looks to have my last slice of cheese. Darn, how I hate when I fell for it. Watching her nibbling my last piece of roquefort and finishing it with a lick(that did me!!)...& then throwing me the looks of “ Can you fetch us more yummies ,pls.” The heck! if i'll do it.

Childishly i've turned off the screen. She took the queue that I'm in a bad mood. And her as always would marched gracefully out of my sight with the air of “AS if I care.” Still, time to time making me notice that she isn't asleep and waiting for what she ask.

Oh non!! This mama is a hard ball, too. Off i go, had a feast with my eyes in Dhanggit's kitchen & Creampuff in Venice... From these bloggers, I scrolled down from their links of food lovers. "Yummy, now I can slumber in my couch."

PS: Sorry with the typo or grammar error, still in the moon.
