You must be wondering what got into me talking about clothing line. In fact, I haven’t wrote any article belong to this one, nor written something which could indicate about my fashion preferences. Anyway, I will not talk about my fabric wraps.
I assure you, I have no intention to play as your fashion consultant here, telling you what cocktail body wrap you should be wearing in a particular occasion, if given a choice to choose.
“Wrong gown” is my own terminology…My adjective. Defining a person who assumes someone else’s persona that does not fit him/her and what more, to those who keep on blundering with acclimation about things that doesn’t exist on them.
If it was just some playing up, or some little fancy act for fun… you may count on me. Somehow, I see that they really tried to assumed someone else place and doing a career on it. Then to me, I see a person wearing a wrong gown.
I have no personal vendetta with them, it just that, I can’t help to be a bit neggie with their way. I would have just love to see them pick something that suit them, because everyone got something special that no mask nor gown could overpower their natural look , that’s their personality.
Writing this is not to provoke anybody but to make me release what pains me. Sadness I feel, for those people who doesn’t value their own worth and doesn’t understand that being an individual, we already stand out.

"Soirée Dansant" outcome.
Last Friday night, it was the “soirée dansant” as I’ve mentioned through my past post that the parents have organized this feasting for fund-raising for school activities, it is also as a welcoming of spring.
Going back to the soirée (night), it was wonderful to watch the children presentation. Everyone was glowing with happiness and so appreciative to every little people who have preformed that night. As they have bow, you’ll see how they enjoy the applauds they are receiving; some even get shy and hid from the skirt of their mamas, some are beaming to their ears and others were waiting for more clasps; in exchange for those content little smile. We, parents do cherish.

Furthermore, some people are enjoying dancing with the kids & the rest were enjoying the nights by chatting, as they will have their turns, to do the serving and clearing up.
About the children, they obliged us with a second round of their performance, and like the first time, the enthusiastic crowd never wore out on applauding. Then, as children as they are,the salle de fête (reception room) turned into their huge playground. To others, it’s a start to have the fever to dance. The room just exhausts laughter and everyone are at their merriment attitudes.
Now, who could say, we parents stop doing fête?
ps: sorry with the wrong grammar.. still have hang over. it's an excuse, i know.

What kind of wine am I?
This tag was given by Lareine, I know that this is long overdue...Sorry!
You Are Pinot Noir |
Deep down you are: A seductive charmer Your partying style: Refined. And you would never call it "partying" |
To be associated as a Pinot Noir, I don’t know if I should be flattered to be define as sophisticated and worldly. Coz to me, sophistication can be an art of projection by acting densely to be different from others. However, I do acknowledge that the experienced one can be truly sophisticated and worldly as they could be.
“You probably know more about wine than most drinkers.” No, I’m not, it’s too presumptuous to accept this description. To think that I wasn’t born to a wine country. However, back home, I had my share of discovering to this fermented sap and was limited to some California and Australian white wines. Although, in some good occasions with some French and Italian red ones.
Now, that I’m living here, my access to know it better has been feasting. Yes, I’m alcoholic esté an avid consumer of red wine. Though, Pinot Noir doesn’t grace our table often, Little things,I know about this wine, in fact; I could only say that it comes from Bourguignon (Burgundy) region,it has a fruity smell and it compliments diffirent plates.
The rest of the descriptions maybe have held some truth. It’s not for me to say.
Now, i would like to know what kind of wine are you?
Another Freaky Friday
Naturally, the kids have their routines every morning; in fact, I seldom need to lift a finger. I just awake to see if they have not forgotten stuff & reminding them, time to time that they need to return the stuff they took for breakfast. And of course, have my goodbye kiss.
But not today, I was awaken by hearing a galloping horse in the house, that's my eldest. What more he was asking me “Mama, how do I press my polo?” Densely, I was telling him, “You’re kidding me? It’s not time to learn how to iron your clothes; and please look outside, the weather is a sh**.” That didn’t stop him. Instead he went down and plugged the iron.
No choice for this mama. I need to race down then resigned by giving him some instructions and console myself by taking my dose of coffee. I was then left wondering, "What’s with the polo today?" He doesn’t normally go far as to provoke me to get off my bed this way, I often get a kiss to be awaken before he buzz off for school. Ouf, could be his one of his days.
Then, d’man & the 2 little monster went down. As they do their norms… The 2 little people start getting agitated; for what reason, heck, I don’t know. Gab started murmuring, a sign of discontent of something. When I asked him, he again started mumbling that he preferred not to have towel to be on his stash to his wind sailing class this afternoon. That's a big no-no for me. Then, he started on asking to change his windbreaker, water shoes and his shorty so on and on…
And as expected, Pia started her stuff, too. Like asking me a million times to prepare her costume for the dance they will present tonight in “soirée dansant” which the parents' association have organized for fund racing for kids' activities. Comforting her that I have the list prepared, but I felt like, they don’t understand every word I say. Coz they continue & continue …
My last resort was telling the little boy, "I think the weather is so bad for you to have your sailing class, you needs stay home. & you little girl, I maybe sick to go to the dance. We all stay here at home & have a quiet start of weekend for once." The brawling had stop. Bravo maman!
I’ve thought, the morning is back to normal and get my comfort of my coffee before sailing to help preparing the salon for the fête. But no, d’man having his sweetest smile asking me with an affirmation tone “So, we go with my choice of new trolley, right.” Oh no, not again. When would 8:30 am come? Can’t help thinking all these. I just want them out of the house. To have this, I need to answer him. “It’s your choice, but I’m telling you it screams bling-bling to me. And if you still go for your reason then I’m at your side.”
Then, they left off and here I am sharing my distressing morning to you. Before I set off to help & do some cake.

Normally it will work, but I have to find my mobile, first. Oops, Sorry. Its one of my attacks.

Happy Easter
This Easter,We didn't have "the egg hunt" outside due to weather. With some luck, Our friends told Pia & Gab yesterday night that they ran into a bell (cloche) and found some parcels of giant eggs. In it says that they must be given to Julian, Gabriel & Sophia. The tale was so cute in french how they ran into the gifts. It doesnt sound right if i translate it in english.
“Merci beaucoup, Ludivine et Yann. Vous etes prêt à être parent.Notre soirée se passe toujours bien, comme d'hab!”
Today, Gab & Sophia woke up earlier & waiting for the rain to pass. Expecting that perhaps Easter bunny still hid some goodies in our garden. Then, they eventually resigned & told me that, The magic bunny must be sick with flu due to the storm. As they have put together the puzzled story to soothe themselves.

My first breathe of birth
Almost 16 yrs now.
I had this little bundle of life.
Who so little, yet made me whole.
His very first smile,
Taught me......
how easily forgiveness
& compassion could come.
that I could not have given before.
My way...
My direction...
My first real breathe.
He is my real guru... after all.
Now,no longer a bundle,
that I have danced along.
But a young man I look up upon.
Sometimes, An enemy I pry.
Who could be my eyes, who say?
But at the end of the day.
He,the hand I took to soothe my way.

Green with Envy
Still on the Storm.... Some are devastated and some are having the best of time...I can't fault them.
I went green with envy seeing this video.
We often go to Plage de Trestraou specially on autumn season, because it's surfing time in our place. How in heaven's name i missed this one. Waaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!
Late Reactor, we are.
Last week to be exact. We had a storm... Wind, it's 120 to 140 km/hr. It isn't unusual though, we been having it at least twice last year (I think). People here are going their way to go to the coast to watch the waves clashing to huge boulders and etc..We as well would have gone off to watch.
But we were more worried about our little girl having influenza and the shed,he built for our woods. D'man was worried that it might not resist the blow. So we have shrugged the idea to be spectators. And just do the normal routine. Him to work & me looking after my little princess. By the way,She was a bit of a whiner.
Then day goes by, normally on Wednesday Gab, my little boy should be going to his swimming class. But my friend called, telling me that the Forum where our boys go for swimming lesson got wracked. I couldn't believe that the outcome went that far. In my head, Oh non!!! I must have jinx the place on considering to go back on swimming. Its the only place here I could do my practice because the pools are heated through it I could defuse myself.
It made me wonder how hard was the hit really. So, I've started on checking on the net. & here is it. We were devastated how much damaged it have brought in our place. The beaches we proudly show-off to our visiting friends. Some cabins & walls eroded due to big splash of waves. And the bars that we patronized are also...been splashed.
As apologetic as we are, we promised that we will be more vigilant and more informative next time. We see that we have really fallen into granny stage. Only thankful that we have good friends go their way to make us more active and aware outside out shack. Candidly they are also reminding us our “you owe me” a visit.

What's your Dinner?
The time I found out she had tagged me. I was cooking our dinner as well for a friend surprise party. On the next day it was the party, then the day after some best friends visited us and lastly my little princess got sick. In Case that you wanna know, she's getting better. Hopefully I could throw her back to sch this Thursday.
For those who doesn't know and doesn't care to know, I'm basically a slave in my kitchen. Its one of my diversion to escape becoming a loony. What? No, nothing fancy cooking. (How I wish!) I'm more like an experimentalist. Luckily, I have a lot of guinea pigs around me. Be rest assured, No one yet get hospitalized.I swear.
Before I go further down the lane & talk more none senses. Let you have a peek on our plate. It was just a simple scallop with fresh cream dashed with apple cider vinegar serve with steamed rice and a salad.
For me, its one of the best way to serve a fresh scallop. A quick pan fry with a semi-salted butter do the trick. I don't mind opening the shell by myself, but I can't stand to feel its' “pulse” when I place it on the pan. Feel so bad.
I've yap so long, let me pry to your dinner plate Liza, Sheila, Mem and Farah.

Friendship Award
I been fortunate today... ANOTHER award...
Warning: There's another ME.
To be honest, I don't consider myself as a writer. You see, I 've some grammatical errors and so on. No good with rules. Don't know why. I just keep on bending them to a point on break, too. So, its not my forte. getting appreciated on this is another thing.
But talking, YES!!! I'm a blah blah blah person, a chatter box by core. I could shift in second to another subject and go back after a minutes. Person in front of me would even wonder how a chimney(smoker) like me, finds a way to talk without take a pause for breathe. And what more, relates life to food.
Few friends knew that I could be .. relevant & an EMO. A lot refused to see it because they preferred that I'm bubbly and insane carrying them to my waterloo. (Down with the brow, pls.)
There, I've warned you. So, expect the unexpected here... It's not a personality complex or somethin'.It's just me.
